General Terms and Conditions (GTC)

1. Application

The general terms and conditions (here by designated as  « GTC ») apply to all services and products that «Unknown Echoes Schneider»(here by designated as Unknown Echoes) offers, be it through his website (here by mentioned as « info@unknownechoes.com ») or with any member of Unknown Echoes who is obligated to show this GTC before any sales contract signing.

Unknown Echoes keeps the right to modify their GTC at any given time. In the event of a litigation, the GTC valid at the time of the contract signing is applied.

 

Unknown Echoes is not affiliated in any way with « Wizards of the Coast », their products are used within the fan content policy of Wizards of the Coast. Wizards of the Coast is in no way responsible for the services offered by Unknown Echoes.

2. Services and products

This takes into account all services and merchandise that Unknown Echoes sells through their website and in all events or sessions. It is in no case possible to contest any product or service that has not been bought by the contester.

    Service

The services offered by Unknown Echoes are game or game learning sessions. These sessions are for moral people and particulars including children. These sessions can be for any type of events, they can take place at any time and in different places.

 

The number of Unknown Echoes members participating at a session can vary depending on the type of service and the number of clients taking part in the session.

3. Offers

Our services and prices are valid as long as they are visible on the website and within limit of our available stock. Modifications of our services and prices are possible at any time, the sale contract is valid.

 

Our promotional offers are only valid within their dates of validity.

4. Price

The prices are displayed in Swiss francs (CHF), the tax on the value (TVA) is already added.

 

The final price indicated on the contract is valid.

5. Cancellation right

Unknown Echoes can at any given time and without any justification, cancel a service or providing of a product. However, the client must be informed, and any payment already made for the service cancelled will be refunded in the 30 days following the cancellation.

6. Conclusion of contracts

All contracts must first be examined. The validation of the aforementioned contract is confirmed by the handwritten signature of the founder Nathan Schneider or by an electronic validation sent to the client from « info@unknownechoes.com ». 

 

If there is a modification of a contract, a new contract must be written, read and approved by the client and Nathan Schneider. This approval can also be sent electronically by « info@unknownechoes.com ».

7. Cancellation and delays

All cancellations or delays must be signaled as soon as possible.

A contract elaborated and validated cannot be canceled by the client if the cancellation deadline (defined in the contract) has passed.

 

After that delay, no form of refund is due to the client.

 

If there is a particular problem, contact our client services.



Unless stated otherwise in a signed contract, late cancellation fees are as follows:

- No charge if the event is canceled at least 10 days in advance.

- In the event of a cancellation between 9 and 2 days (48 hours) before the event, a fee of 10% of the total amount of the invoice must be paid by the customer.

- In the event of a cancellation less than 48 hours (but more than 24 hours) before the event, a fee of 20% of the total amount of the invoice must be paid by the customer.

- In the event of a cancellation less than 24 hours before the event, a fee of 30% of the total amount of the invoice must be paid by the customer.

- In the event of a cancellation occurring on the day of the event, a fee of 50% of the total amount of the invoice must be paid by the customer.

- When the cancellation occurs after the start time of the event, the customer is required to pay the full amount of the event invoice.

    Delays

Delays and tardiness that are unannounced within the according delays in the contract and that will have as a consequence a shorter session or no session at all, will not be refunded.

8. Delivery

The delivery address of the physical or moral person must be in Switzerland or in the principality of Liechtenstein. 

 

International deliveries are possible but considered « special ».

​For orders, deliveries or special demands, an estimate must be provided by Unknown Echoes before validation of the order.

 

The times in which products will be delivered are indicated on the website. These times are only indicative. Unknown Echoes does not guarantee delivery or order times.

 

No delivery can be made on Sundays or official holidays.

 

The delivery will be done through « La Poste Suisse SA ». Depending on the size of the package, it will be placed in a mail or milk box. If the package is too large, a withdrawal notice will be set in the mailbox. The client will have the responsibility of withdrawing their package at the post office indicated on the withdrawal notice.

Unknown Echoes cannot be held responsible for any damage suffered through delivery. If the product is damaged through delivery, the client must note his complaint at the moment of delivery and contact our client services.

   Delivery fees

Delivery fees are variable. They depend on the volume, weight, place of delivery and the total value of the parcel.

9. Behavior

Unknown Echoes offers services in which respect of every individual involved is essential. Unknown Echoes will not tolerate any behavior that aims to physically or emotionally hurt a physical person.

 

Depending on the severity of an act, Unknown Echoes maintains the right to send a person away without any form of refund. If any cases are severe, these actions will be denounced to the police immediately.

 

If the behavior of one or several people creates an unsustainable environment, Unknown Echoes can end its service at any given moment. The refunds of these situations will be dealt with case by case but are not guaranteed.

The severity of actions can be determined by any member of Unknown Echoes present for the event.

 

If the person responsible for the intolerable action is in possession of a subscription, the possible refunds will be discussed case by case.

 

These rules only apply towards physical people and do not apply when you are role playing your character facing another character in the game « Dungeons and Dragons ».

10. Accidents and injuries

Unknown Echoes is not responsible for any damage, injury, loss, theft or discomfort undergone in any of our services and products.

11. Guarantee and claim

      Products

If the products delivered are damaged, the client can ask for a replacement or a refund. The client must warn Unknown Echoes by mail of the issue. After a confirmation from Unknown Echoes, the client can send the article back. The way of return will be determined with the confirmation. The postal fees will be paid by Unknown Echoes.

      Services  "Satisfied or refunded"

The services provided by Unknown Echoes can be subjected to claims under certain conditions:

 

  • If there is a non-professional behavior from Unknown Echoes during the service (tardiness, intentional rudeness, inappropriate behavior, disrespect of the due services).

 

  • If the «Game Master » does not provide a quality service (for example by spending more time checking rules in the books than telling the story).

 

  • If the difficulty is ill adapted and the session finishes at least an hour early.

 

The complaint must be signaled during or right at the end of the service. If the service is judged to be insufficient by the majority of the present clients, a refund will be done. (does not include travel fee and room reservation).

 

Unknown Echoes does not guarantee that the experience of « Dungeons and Dragons » will please every client. It is not possible to ask a refund because the client did not like the game of « Dungeons and Dragons »

12. Payments

All types of payment must be done in Swiss francs.

      Payment methods

The accepted online payment methods are credit cards (MasterCard, VISA, American Express) or debit cards such as « Postcard ».

Payment by PayPal or Twint is also possible.

 

Payment by cash is also possible on the day of the service and this, before the service has begun.

For other particular payment methods, a formal inquiry must be sent via email to

« info@unknownechoes.com ». Each inquiry shall be examined separately until an accord is made between the client and Unknown Echoes.

13. Photo and video

With verbal conscent from boh the clients and present staff of Unknown Echoes, photos and videos can be taken during Unknown Echoes events or services.

These photos or videos can be published on our social media and site only with written signatures of the clients who can be see on these photos or videos.

14. Data protection

The data provided by clients will only be used within Unknown Echoes. They will be in no case divulged or shared excepted with competent authorities who can ask for them for legal reasons.

Unknown Echoes will use your data only in cases of law:

 

  • The execution of a contact concluded with you

 

  • The respect of a legal obligation

15. Place of jurisdiction and applicable law.

The Swiss material law is applicable.

 

The place of jurisdiction is Lausanne.
